BudgetBuddy Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-24

Using BudgetBuddy

BudgetBuddy helps you track your own income and expenses on your device. By using the app you agree to these terms. On iOS, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Not financial advice

Figures, estimates and projections in the app are calculated from what you enter and are for personal information only. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Check important numbers against your real accounts.

Your data and backups

Your data lives only on your device. You are responsible for exporting backups you want to keep. The developer cannot recover lost data.

Free plan and Premium

The free plan includes unlimited one-time entries and up to 8 recurring entries. Premium unlocks unlimited recurring entries, bi-weekly and custom recurrence, and category suggestions and bill scanning. Features may be adjusted in future updates; entries you already created stay on your device.

Subscriptions

Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly or yearly at the price shown in the store before you buy. New subscribers may be offered a free trial (currently two weeks) before the first payment; if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription converts to the paid plan and your account is charged. Eligibility for a trial is decided by Apple or Google. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including data loss or decisions made from its figures. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
